Tuesday

Last night, we feasted on the birthday boy's dream meal...or one of them anyway.

Burgers and hot dogs on the grill, fries, and watermelon.  Yum, yum.

Sheila gave him a ginormous ballon, cuz he's double digits now.

Alex had a double dose of training yesterday, but still had time to bench press his favorite cousin.

Brian got lots of fun stuff...including a new bike, which he's going to go and pick out tonight.

One of them is upside down!

Triple chocolate brownies with chocolate frosting. Yum, yum.  And candles that have colored flames.  

Goodbye violin.  Hellooooo trumpet.  Brian is already a pro.  Of course.

He's going to be taking lessons from his oldest brother once a week.  Payment will be a tank of gas...pretty fair trade.

As for today...it is Fall, ya'll.  

FALL.  

As in AUTUMN.

I went to bible study...one which is going to be a challenge for me called Discerning the Voice of God.  Challenge for me to slow down and truly listen, but I am ready and the timing is perfect...and I am so excited to start.

After, I ran a few errands in this utterly perfect weather...have I mentioned that it is FALL-like today?

Came home and mashed, stirred and cooked a pot of raspberries into homemade jam.  

Ready for the freezer.  Yum, yum.

On a roll, I peeled a couple of dozen apples and those are in the crockpot, turning themselves into applesauce.

It's Fall.
