The day began with me coming out of the shower and finding Mollie in my bedroom with her new friend. On my new carpet.
Don't worry...I took more than a picture. I took a whole video of the 'situation', which I'll post tomorrow when I am not so sleepy. Let's just say it involved me in a bathrobe and more than one neighbor...and a new new neighbor who now thinks I am rather strange.
All thanks to Mollie and the mouse. Good kitty.

The neighborhood girls (minus Gwen, who wasn't feeling well but saved me from the mouse) loaded up into Sheila's car and drove 6 miles to my very, very favorite place.
Let's see...it starts with a 'B' and ends with an 'H'.
Parked the car and walked along PCH on the path. Down the hill.
Down the hill. Towards the tunnel.
Towards the tunnel. To the tunnel.
To the tunnel. Through the tunnel.
Through the tunnel. Up the hill.
Up the hill. Follow the sound.
Follow the sound. See the ocean.
Eat at the Beachcomber - YUM! Put your toes in the sand.
Put your toes in the sand. Take a picture of your girlfriends.
Full from lunch, check out the stairs leading up.
Choose the shuttle instead.
The FULL shuttle full of full people full from lunch.
Load back up into the car and drive a few minutes to Sprinkles Cupcakes, cuz no matter how full you are, a girl always has room for sprinkles. Especially if they are on a cupcake.

Stand in front of the case and ooh. And ahh.
Admire the cute box.
And the even cuter cupcakes. Let's see...dark chocolate marshmallow, vanilla/milk chocolate, dark chocolate mocha and red velvet.
All together now...RED VELVET.
Drive back into the hood where we discovered a bird had discovered MY hood. And windshield. It must've eaten too many cupcakes.

Yummy, yummy, yummy.

ReplyDeleteYep, they've discovered the real "you"! It must come from your mother's side of the family. At least you're wearing a robe - your mom use to model nightgowns. (gee I should dig up some photos!)
