Whipping Them Into Shape

I had this strange thought...this thought that once we hit this time in the school year life would suddenly become easier.

But so far the only easy part is that when I close my eyes at night, I know exactly where each of my boys are.  Under my roof.  Problem is, I also know where each of them has been when my eyes are open...and it's driving me crazy.

Slobs.

Each and every one of them.

The thing is, they are all playing me.  Each one of my males does their own laundry, can clean a bathroom better than anyone I know and know full well how to pick up after themselves.

Problem is, they're slackers.

So tonight...over a lovely supper that I am lovingly going to prepare (for reals...I like that part), the other shoe is going to drop.  No more slobs.  No more dishes and shoes and wet towels all over the place.

My plan?

Feed them.  Tell them I love them.  Empower them to be the people I know they can be..and then threaten the heck out of them with all my being.

I'm actually looking forward to it.
