The one at the busy intersection has to deal with traffic, turn lanes, kids, and the drivers who don't want to stop. (the reason I usually drive to school) The other guard by the school deals with stop signs, and tons of traffic. Let's not forget about all the parents who think they can double park. In our area it's mostly senior citizens who help children cross the street directly in front of the school...no traffic lights or anything. We don't really have them anywhere else around town.
