Today we had lunch at Panera after church, and dinner was filet mignon, baked potato, and steamed fresh green beans.

Last night we went to hear Time for Three play with the Elgin Symphony. Before the concert, we went to dinner at the nearby Walnut Speakeasy. It is neighborhood grill modeled after a 1930s prohibition era speakeasy. The bricks and some of the walnut is authentic, removed from demolished buildings from the prohibition era. It turned out to be a nice little place. Mike had their Oktoberfest sausage and sauerkraut special, and I had pulled pork. The food was good and very inexpensive.Cherylnoreply@blogger.com
